| THE COMPANY November 1991; what we know as LUNAMAR SHIPYARD begins its activities. Born as a result of the leisure time devoted to this passion: navigation. Always seeking improvement, we have developed over the years different boat models, and almost without noticing we have thrown ourselves into inflatables. Thus, we started to design RIB tubes, hulls and structures, with a profile different from that of the market. For this reason, the most demanding clients worldwide have chosen us. The first MOON RIB was a 520 and today we manufacture three different lines (Tourism, Ocean Off Shore and Ocean Work) measuring from 2.6 to 16 meters. Special for tourism, competition (under UIM -Unione International Motonautique- regulations) family trips, fishing, sky, scuba diving, rescue, professional work, transport of persons, load, special manoeuvres, military work, high speeds, etc. In the three lines of MOON Ribs that we build we answer to the most demanding international quality standards. Our MOON boats have different homologations such as the P.N.A. (Argentine Naval Prefecture), E.C. (European Community), R.I.NA. (Italian Naval Registry), etc. MOON RIBs are the first choice of expeditionary and different companies in highly demanding latitudes with strong winds, low temperatures, ice, large waves, etc. such as the regions of Patagonia, Tierra del Fuego, Straits of Magellan, Cape Horn, Antarctica. etc, where the greatest safety is required. This is how all of our boats excel for their exclusive and modern design, their strong structures, safety and quality construction. Now, in the year 2007, we maintain the same quality policies, always seeking to excel in our designs and post-selling service. This is how our dealers and representatives from all over the world (Chile, Nederland, Spain, USA, etc.) understand it and involve their companies and prestige endorsing our product. Following the innovation philosophy also we have incorporated more products to our range of MOON RIBs as well as to the Foldable ones.
